Photos from an elopement during Sure Thing Chapel’s opening weekend in NYC!
In September 2026 Sure Thing Chapel, a Vegas staple, opened their first NYC location! I was lucky enough to be brought along by N & H and their loved ones to capture their ceremony.
Sure Thing Chapel NYC, located on the Lower East Side, is the perfect space for couples who crave non-traditional, colorful, and kitschy vibes for their intimate elopement. They have a couple of different package options with varying lengths of time, guest allotment and add-ons like having Tillie the Clown as your officiant.
We were lucky enough to have the iconic Hellvis officiating during opening weekend – and we had so much fun! Our hour in the space was perfect to get all the guests in and settled, have a short ceremony, then take some group photos as well as some creative portraits of the couple. The chapel shares space with AUTOPHOTO, the photobooth museum, so you can pop over there after, as well!
