First, we’ll get your engagement session scheduled! At your session, you’ll get to feel out my shooting style, we’ll all get to know each other better, and it’s SO much fun! Plus, you’ll get some super cute photos of you & your love to share with friends and family, and maybe even use for your save-the-dates.
This is probably your first time planning a wedding, but it is definitely not my first go around. I’ll make myself available to you in the months leading up to your big day to answer day-of schedule questions & give any other help or advice you might need during your wedding planning. I’ll send you a questionnaire & the 15+ page guide I created with all my little tips & tricks to help you set up the perfect schedule, and we’ll get on a call to chat it all through in the weeks leading up to the big day.
Getting you through the day while staying on schedule and having fun is my goal — all while capturing every moment of it all from getting ready, to the ceremony, to family portraits and first dances and every beautiful candid moment in between.
My work isn’t nearly done at the end of your wedding. The next day, I’ll get right to work on your gallery. I cannot wait to show you! You’ll receive your full gallery within two months - but no worries, you’ll also get a few images as a sneak peek in a few days!

how many images do we get?
It varies! It can be anywhere from 25-50 per hour, or more. On your wedding day, some parts of the day are packed with events and some are more chill & relaxed. I don’t promise a certain number of photos anymore, because for me, it’s more about capturing the day as it unfolds and delivering quality over quantity.
What happens if it rains?
I’m not stressed about it! I use top of the line gear that’s weather-proof, and I have insurance (BTW I can provide a certificate of insurance to your wedding venue if they ask, no problem!) I’ve also got cute clear dome umbrellas for ya to stand under if it’s rainy! Honestly, I love rainy, moody weather and capturing it in photos. For engagement and portrait sessions, rescheduling may be an option depending on the season & my schedule, but typically I don’t reschedule unless the weather is creating dangerous conditions.
What happens if you can’t make it?
This has never happened before. But, never say never. We live in a world with COVID, and there is always the chance of accidents or family emergencies. In the event that I can’t make it to your wedding, I would find a trusted associate photographer to send out in my place. Then, I’d edit the gallery myself as planned so you’d still end up with your gallery in my editing style.
How much is the retainer?
The non-refundable retainer fee for weddings & elopements is $1,000. This will go toward your final balance and is due at booking when you sign the contract, to reserve your date on my calendar.
Can I see a full gallery?
OF COURSE! I would love to share a full wedding gallery with you. My social media & website mostly feature photos of couples – as I don’t have explicit permission from every wedding guest to use their photo in my marketing. But I would love to show you what a full gallery from me looks like, so you can see the flow of the day, how I capture it, and how I handle different lighting.
how are our
photos protected?
I shoot on two camera bodies throughout the day, each with two slots for memory cards. So, I leave the venue with 4 cards worth of data. Once I get home, I back your images up to a hard drive AND to the cloud, and I don’t rewrite the memory cards from your wedding until your gallery is delivered. Basically, it would be reallyyyy hard to lose my work.
