Sunset Brooklyn Bridge Engagement

We love the Brooklyn Bridge over here. It can be stunning both on the bridge & over in Dumbo with the sun setting over the Manhattan skyline, and even dreamier at blue hour as all the lights begin to twinkle.

The one downside is that the Brooklyn Bridge is a super popular location, and in the afternoon it can get pretty packed. There are definitely ways to get photos of just the two of you (for example, the wider middle part of the bridge) but most of your shots up there will have people in the background.

Take a peek at S+N’s gallery below and decide if the people around you might be a dealbreaker. Personally, it doesn’t bother me at all – but you can also consider sunrise to have the area more to yourselves.

Another perk, Jane’s Carousel will likely be lit up and depending on the time of year, may even still be running.
