The weekend of the summer solstice, Kenzie and Connor gathered their loved ones on the waterfront in Newport, Rhode Island for a crazy fun celebration.

With one of the newlyweds from New York and the other from Massachusetts, Kenzie and Connor gathered their friends and family in the middle in Newport, Rhode Island for their wedding celebration.

Regatta Place is a STUNNING venue with a tented ceremony setup on a dock, a permanent structured reception tent with pretty wood floors, and a beautiful shaded terrace in between the two for cocktail hour and desserts. It has a bridal suite inside the building upstairs, but there are plenty of gorgeous hotels in the vicinity for stays and getting ready, as well.

Kenzie and Connor’s reception was my favorite part of their wedding day. They seriously brought the vibes to the dance floor – and it didn’t hurt that they had a Ben & Jerry’s stand, a cigar bar, an espresso martini bar, AND a wandering cannoli station. With their evening winding down at sunset with a beautiful ocean breeze, all of their guests were having an absolute blast.

I grew up in a beach town in Massachusetts, so I’m biased – but I don’t think there’s anywhere better to get married than on the water.
